We offer a number of different digital courses for clients at all levels of need.

The BMH ESOL programme, Community English, is a non-accredited community offer which allows asylum seekers, refugees and settlers a place to come and learn English, make friends and learn about their community in an informal classroom setting.

Community English

No matter your circumstances, clients who are looking to learn English as a Second language are welcome at the Community English sessions.

The Community English course is free and is run entirely by volunteers and specialist trainee teachers from the University of Bolton.

Initial Assessments are held on Wednesday every week on a one to one basis.

Digital Drop-In

The Digital Drop-In is an informal drop-in session for clients who want somewhere to use the computer with support if required.

During the Digital Drop-In we can support clients with the following:

  • CV editing
  • Filling in application forms
  • Creating cover letters
  • Job Search
  • Basic computer skills
  • Online shopping - using sites safely

The Digital Drop-In is now open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10 am to 3 pm.
